Breaking News: Maple Leafs Make Wayne Simmonds Available via Trade

The Toronto Maple Leafs have informed all other 31 NHL clubs that Wayne Simmonds is available ahead of tomorrow's opening night roster deadline per Elliotte Friedman. This is a very classy move by the Maple Leafs management group to help the 1,019-game vet find a new home and stay in the NHL.
